What an amazing day ! We did so much today. We rode down moguls and I was zig-zagging between them like they are meant to be ridden. We went in a terrain park with three small jumps and we got coached on how to hit the jumps and how to land. We went on a bordercross trail with quarterpipe walls and rolling hills. We went in the huge halfpipe with 22 foot walls and I didn't have trouble going up the sides but coming back down was not possible without falling and sliding down.
I fell hard once on my right hip in the moguls so that is starting to get quite sore but that's pretty good after three days of not falling hard, and I jumped back up and finished the moguls.
Tonight I went to a party with all of the women at a house on a lake and it was a blast. They had all kinds of fondue and then they started blasting music and everyone was dancing together like a choreographed video. It was hysterical and the music was mostly Lady Gaga and Backstreet Boys!
I have attached a picture of my snowboarding group - Bonnie, me, Connie and our instructor Celeste. Today was group picture day in our class with 37 skiers and 4 snowboarders, with our instructors. We also did individual group shots and my group wore our snowboards while lying in the snow on our stomachs and curling our boards up behind us. Everyone was laughing and saying it was a great shot.

So fun! Did you get any pictures of the group shots? Can't wait to see you soon! lyt
ReplyDeleteSo, sounds like you had a good time at the party, I'm glad you went. Now that you've got some professional training, I'm sure you'll be even more antsy to head out on the slopes! Hope your hip feels ok in the morning.
ReplyDeleteIn my next life, I want to come back as Carol!!
